Our goal for the Wisconsin DOT was to digitize the Title and License Plate Application form known as "MV1" which had a reputation for being unfairly complicated and was printed in such a way that users were guaranteed to make mistakes.
In our process of digitizing it, we also made the form much more user friendly, which resulted in reduced customer contacts by email and phone, increased legibility, completeness, and accuracy of submitted applications, fewer refunds and fee adjustments, decrease in follow-up letters to customers requesting additional documentation and/or payment, as well as…
